Asahi/America Series 08 Electric Actuators for the Oil and Gas Industries
Asahi’s Series 08 electric actuators have been installed with confidence in a variety of oil and gas applications including pipeline transmission, water recovery, and chemical plants. The Series 08’s rugged construction, proven design and customizable options make it the perfect work-horse for the oil and gas industries. The Series 08’s enclosure is a die-cast aluminum alloy with a thermally-bonded powder-coat. This combination NEMA Type 4X & 7 enclosure is bolted together in two sections by four 5/16-18 socket-head cap screws and fitted with a gasket between the two halves, allowing the Series 08 to weather harsh and hazardous environments. The internals of the Series 08 actuator feature a permanently lubricated gear-train, hardened steel spur gears, and high duty motors. Two end-of-travel limit switches are mechanically set via adjustable cams for open and close positions. Accessories such as positioners, auxiliary switches, two-wire control relays, and custom wiring configurations are all available factory installed and calibrated in the actuators.

Asahi’s Series 10 electric actuators have been installed with confidence in a variety of oil and gas applications including pipeline transmission, water recovery, and chemical plants. This combination NEMA Type 4X, 7 and 9 enclosure is bolted together in two sections by eight M8 hex-head cap screws and fitted with an O-ring between the two halves, allowing the Series 92 to weather harsh and hazardous environments. The internals of the Series 92 actuator feature a permanently lubricated gear-train, hardened steel spur gears, and high duty motors. Two end-of-travel limit switches are mechanically set via adjustable cams for open and close positions.
