The company was established in 2006 by Bayerngas GmbH and its partners. Bayerngas GmbH has a controlling stake of 53.7%. Stadtwerke München holds 31.3%, Swissgas - 10% and TIGAS-Erdgas Tirol - 5%
The company has several dozens licenses in projects throughout the North Sea.[2]
