Name: Solas LED Floodlight
Description: The Solas is a new generation of LED luminaire. Utilising ultra bright LEDs, it produces a whiter more focused light than an equivalent 70W HPS lamp. Available with a self contained battery, it can also be used for backup emergency lighting.

Designed with the latest high output LEDs, and enclosed within a field of proven marine grade aluminium body, the Solas floodlight is guaranteed to perform even in the most arduous marine environments.
Solas can operate from mains power or from internal rechargeable batteries. These unique characteristics provide a flexible luminaire that is as well suited to providing focused area lighting, illuminating safety critical areas in an emergency situation. Low temperature operation and a remote inhibition facility is also available on emergency versions.

Description: The Nevis LED Zone 1 bulkhead is designed for low profile applications, ideal for walkways or restricted height areas. The wide ambient temperature range -55°C to +55°C, this makes the Nevis LED suitable for extreme environmental conditions.

The Nevis LED Zone 1 bulkhead is the latest Chalmit product to have been upgraded to utilise high power LEDs. Built around the existing robust Nevis enclosure, the LED package is equivalent to a 70W HPS lamp in both lumen output and distribution, but at much less power which is beneficial where circuit loading could be a problem.
The Nevis has a side mounted increased safety terminal chamber, this eliminates the need for flameproof glands and allows for flush mounting with easy cable access. The easy maintenance features enable the Nevis is a product can be mounted on walls, handrails and ceilings making it ideal for walkways or restricted height areas.
With a T-Class rating of T6 and a wide ambient temperature range of -55°C to +55°C, this makes the Nevis suitable for extreme environmental conditions.
Name: Protecta LED Fluorescent
Description: The innovative Protecta LED has been engineered to equal the light output and distribution of traditional fluorescent luminaries, the design benefit from an extended life and low maintenance features which are key to the oil and gas industry.

The Protecta LED has an expected useful life to 70% of the initial lumens is 60,000 hours, the geartray displaying the LEDs can be easily replaced, similar to a traditional lamp change. The LEDs are more powerful in lumens per watt figures than all fluorescent tubes, proving that LED technology is now truly a viable alternative.
One of the main benefits of LEDs is their ability to maintain a steady lumen output across the complete ambient temperature range and delivery a better performance than fluorescent lamps operating at low temperatures.
The complete geartray assembly which includes the LEDs and driver can be retro-fitted into existing Protecta III fluorescent product, bringing the existing enclosure up to date with the very latest technology. The proven track record of the very robust enclosure is not compromised as the complete enclosure remains unchanged.
