Crude Interventions

Crude Interventions: The United States, Oil and the New World (Dis)Order is a 2006 book written by independent journalist Garry Leech. It was published in the United States by Palgrave Macmillan. Outside of the United States, it was published by Zed Books Ltd. Crude Interventions examines relevant geopolitical issues in the 21st Century such as terrorism and globalization. Mr. Leech attempts to show how these aforementioned issues are related to the U.S.'s incredible demand for oil, U.S.'s hegemony, and America's foreign policy. Mr. Leech's critique of the United States's foreign policy is explicitly shown in this gripping, highly informative look at the U.S.'s quest for an increased supply of natural resources, specifically oil.
