Name: Fluoroglide® bearing systems
Description: Our range of Fluorinoid® load bearing low friction materials have been used for over 30 years giving us a global reputation for providing slide bearings, pipe supports and skidway solutions to the construction and oil industries.

Fluoroglide® skidway plates are used in construction yards throughout the world to assist in skidding oil jackets, modules and heavy structures. Jackets and Decks with weights up to 30,000 tonnes have been successfully loaded out on Fluoroglide® skidway plates. Our PTFE slide bearings are used to solve problems related tof thermal, seismic or differential forces. These bearings operate at high loads and low speeds, and it is under these conditions that the self-lubricating properties of specific grades of Fluorinoid® PTFE are at a maximum. We manufacture specific J-Bearings for subsea use. The bearings are used on SURF projects incorporating PLETS where movement may occur between the pipe line/ riser assembly and mudmat.

Using the company's Fluorinoid materials register of over 200 filled PTFE grades 150 grades of Melt Fluoropolymers and our in-house blending facilities, we work with customers to develop and blend grades to suit specific applications.
