Since 1983 GISMA has specialised in the development and production of high-quality underwater connectors and belongs today to one of the leading manufactures (DNV certified: ISO9001:2008). Our production line comprises more than 4000 different electrical, fibre-optical, hybrid and pressure balanced ROV mateable connectors which are used worldwide for offshore, marine and renewable energy applications. Standard connectors are available with 1-265 contacts, suitable to voltages up to 12 kV AC and current ratings up to 1000 amps. Even special requirements are carried out quickly by GISMA's own computer-aided design department, tooling and ultramodern computer controlled machines. Furthermore GISMA offers services from individual advising to fully tested, terminated cable assemblies. With our service team off- and onshore services can be carried out worldwide. Certificates of approvals from well known test organisations, i.e. GL and DNV are available on request.
News and Innovation - API connector – Series 16
From July 2013 on our new API – connector will be available. The design of this connector type bases on series 10, a series which is well introduced to the offshore market since more than 25 years. The flange receptacle will have two integrated API test ports which allow a testing under built-in conditions. The two API test ports make it possible to test the o-ring in the mating area as well as the one mounted in the housing. The plug is rearside oiltight, designed for PBOF hose adapters and is mounted with single wire boot seals.

· Working pressure: max 450 bar, test pressure: max 600 bars

GISMA’s 10/12kV wet mateable connector available
GISMA developed a high voltage wet mateable connector for oil and gas offshore and renewable energy applications. The new series 80 size 8 connector reduces the costs for installation and subsea maintenance and simplifying device installation.
In 2012 the connector was tested successfully in a renewable energy research project.
