GP:50 has introduced the Model 340-IM series, designed to accurately and reliably measure blender discharge pressure on truck mounted blenders.
Working in collaboration with a major well servicing company, the model 340-IM was designed to solve the chronic failures they experienced with other manufacturers units. Abrasive media, high shock and vibration and high overpressure conditions presented a challenge for standard products.
Monitoring blender discharge pressure is critical as it provides proper feed pressure to the frac pump. However, measuring this accurately and reliably presented a few challenges.
- Many of the fluids contain heavy, abrasive media that plug standard recessed pressure ports or erode the sensing element of flush oil filled style sensors.
- The high vibration and high frequency pressure spikes found in these applications damaged standard units.
- The Model 340-IM series design addressed each problem. The 340-IM utilizes a flush, stainless steel sensing diaphragm
which resolved both the plugging and erosion issues. By providing proof pressures as high as 1,500 PSI for the most common pressure range, the concerns associated with pressure spikes were also eliminated.
- Utilizing assembly techniques and designs found in GP:50’s aerospace products resolved the high shock and vibration issues.
- Finally, a proprietary isolated sensor design completely eliminated any change in the transmitters output due to installation stress often found with other suppliers instruments.
The model 340 offers a ½” NPT male flush process connection, as well as an optional tri-clamp adapter, all welded
stainless steel construction, corrosion resistant wetted parts, a compact design, 5 times proof pressure rating, and many optional electrical connections.

GP:50 has introduced the Model 340T series temperature transmitter designed to accurately measure engine oil & transmission oil temperatures
for oilfield vehicles and on-board equipment.

Monitoring oilfield engine and transmission oil temperatures is critical in preventing component damage, it provides feedback as to the fluids condition and if necessary provides feedback to shut the system down preventing catastrophic failure.
Finding a reliable temperature transmitter that could withstand the shock, vibration and extreme environmental conditions had been a challenge.
With over 20 years of temperature measurement experience in the aerospace industry, GP:50 modified a standard aerospace product that met the size and performance constraints for these vehicle applications.
The Model 340T’s aerospace based design easy handles the shock and vibration found on these vehicles as well as the extreme temperatures and environmental conditions. Utilizing a hermetically sealed, stainless steel design eliminated the environmental failures found with standard industrial products.
The model 340T comes in a 1” diameter package and offers NPT or BSP process connections with probes from ¾” to 6”
long. Optional electrical connectors as well as 0-5 VDC, RTD or 4-20mA output are available.

As sometimes gauges needed to be used in harsh environments like the oil and gas industries, also near sea atmosphere project, or on sea vessels. So most of the times we need to go for expensive material like SS 316 instead of standard SS 304 case and Bezels.
In view of reducing the cost of the product elite come up with the idea of supplying to the customer who needs SS316 case and Bezel. We provide epoxy painting as per the customer pantone code color shade required for the customer with SS 304 case and Bezel, which in turn reduces the cost of the product considerably and also gives same advantages of the product as like SS316.
The extra price for painting will be very nominal as compared to huge cost difference between SS 316 case/Bezel to SS304 case /Bezel.
