Heat recovery evaporation is the most energy efficient desalination technology. Waste heat from engine jacket water, engine exhaust or other heat source is utilized, providing the bulk of the energy requirement. Heat recovery evaporators provide stability and consistency across all types of feed water and can handle wide ranges of feed water temperatures. A Maxim evaporator offers competitive upfront capital costs, a simple design, and low maintenance requirements.
The HJ Series is ideal for for small work boats, survey vessels, offshore production platforms, and offshore drilling platforms. The TCF Series is ideal for larger cruisers, survey vessels, and offshore production platforms.
