White Nile Limited WAS a petroleum company operating in Sudan. The company is partly owned by Nilepet, a national oil company of Sudan operating in the south of the country. The company is listed on the AIM London Stock Exchange. The Company was kicked out of Southern Sudan collectively by President Omar Beshir and First Vice President and President of the Government of Southern Sudan, Salva Kiir Mayardit. The Company once had a valuation of over 1 billion dollars but since being tossed out of Southern Sudan has collapsed in value on the AIM exchange of the London Stock Exchange. Its valuation is a mere 15 million US Dollars
White Nile Limited is not to be confused with White Nile Petroleum Operating Company, also operating in Sudan.
