Chevron Australia has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join the Materials Operations team. Reporting to the Materials Operations Manager, this permanent and residential role will be based in Karratha.
Key responsibilities
Support the Materials Operations Manager in material management services to Australian business unit operations Maintain oversight of materials management and supervise personnel activities in accordance with investment recovery processes, covering inventory solutions including material issues, materials inventory controls and stock integrity Accountable for overseeing third party service providers Manage all facets of material operations at the facility, including planning and scheduling, materials receiving/inspection, initial quarantine compliance, inspections/preservation/ put away/stocktaking, pick/pack and dispatch, returns and repair movements, preparation for dispatch by road/air and sea and ensuring relevant compliance to rules and regulations are met for each mode of dispatch Accountable for governance, process oversight and operational management of each facility and working in conjunction with third party logistics management teams to ensure operations are conducted in safe, efficient and reliable manner Ensure incident free operations and correct safety culture across all operations is established and maintained, seeking continuous improvement with all employees, contractors and suppliers Commitment to health, environment and safety and Chevron best practices Key skills and experience required
Relevant skill set within an oil and gas/resource industries to supervise the material operations conducted within the Karratha distribution facility Demonstrated strong supervisor skills, material management, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) knowledge Experience in JDE is preferred Demonstrated ability to identify and build key relationships that contribute to high-class business results Demonstrated commitment to Chevron’s values of integrity, partnership and trust and achieving an incident and injury free environment
