ACUITY, division of Schmitt Industries, Portland Oregon, was founded in 1992 to develop laser distance sensors and measurement systems for industrial and OEM use. Acuity Laser sensors & Scanners are used today in applications from Micron-Level Part and Surface Inspection to Distance Measurement to Surface Profiling & 3D Point Clouds.
